Site: A13 off-slip onto the A1089, the main route into Tilbury Docks from the M25.
Problem: The carriageway had deteriorated to the point that it needed pothole repairs and was deformed and cracked possibly due to slippage of the embankment.
Solution: A temporary solution was sought to restore a safe running surface, arrest further deterioration and recover some of the carriageway profile. This would enable the client time to carryout a detailed site investigation and arrange full carriageway reconstruction. Masterscreed was chosen to provide this short to medium term solution.

A County Council are using Masterscreed to provide additional resource to their own busy patching gangs.
Following the much publicised severe winters which have caused so much damage to the running surface of many roads, this local authority found a need to bolster their existing crews with additional resource to tackle the increasing number of potholes and patches requiring treatment.
